You can change the setting in the SETTINGS tab while the generator is running, but the program and the generator will ignore these changes until you stop the program, overwrite the generator, then restart with your new settings.
You can take note of the preset and step numbers just before you stop the generator. Then when you restart, after the generator over-ride, you can pause the program, enter the pre-set number you recorded, click on pause again to allow the new pre-set number to be selected, pause again and enter the recorded step number, click on the pause and your program will restart where you left off. On this restart, you will be running your new settings.
