Once you have assigned the Preset Chain to the generator, there is a box in the Control tab, under the frequencies box, labeled Preset Number. Change that number to the number of Preset within the chain that you want to start with. To find the number of the preset, start at the top of the list in the Preset tab, Presets/Chains box when selecting the Terrain Preset Chain of choice. For instance, for Day 4, it is Preset 4 - because there have only been one Preset per day prior to that. For day 8, it would be Preset 9 because day 6 had 2 Presets each running 12 hours.
