1. I adjust the volume for comfort. I like the impulse waveform for most of the tones that produce over the square wave. If the tone is standalone that I am using to heal and not kill I will use a sine wave.
2. Copied from Richard Loyd Ph.D.: "Heterodyning is a principle used in electronics. It has been used to convert very high frequencies that are difficult to work with into lower frequencies that are easier to work with. Radios that used this principle have been called superheterodyne receivers. The basic idea with heterodyning is that when two high frequencies are combined, the sum of the two and the difference between the two is produced. The folks at the Spooky2 forum have been using the mixing of two radio frequencies to try and produce pulsed scalar fields.
I don't know anything about scalar fields or scalar waves. I have no way to tell if scalar waves or fields are produced or what benefit there is if they are produced.
But I have been experimenting with heterodyning. I start with a base frequency of 2977792 Hz which is an upper harmonic of 727 Hz. If I want to apply 3133 Hz (a frequency for Rife's BX), I subtract 3133 from 2977792 which gives me 2974659. I then run 2977792 and 2974659 at the same time. It turns out that 3133 is produced in a very powerful way that reduces BX many times faster than other methods of applying 3133 Hz. Any other audio frequency can also be applied this way with excellent results."

Is the 2977792 Hz carrier you described, used for contact mode or remote mode?
Thank you
