Is it safe to do a converge sweep on children (ages 2-7)? My understanding is that I can put nails from my entire family in 1 remote and treat everyone at the same time, right?

Remote is the safest method. The only concern with sweeps is to not run them too long because a sweep will potentially kill beneficial gut flora while it is killing "bad" pathogens. As long as you don't run the sweep too long, it is safe for children as well.

Yes, all members of the family can be treated simultaneously in one remote.
