Restarted spooky2 and immediately got a message saying "No Generators detected." Exit and Install drivers. I checked the cables multiple times, restarted the computer and tried spooky2 on a different laptop. The USB cable looks fine.

Open Device Manager, switch off xm, disconnect usb to XM. Make sure mains power supply is connected to xm.

With Device Manager on screen switch on one xm and watch the Device Manager for the Ports entry to tell you which port you have.

If you have a yellow mark against the ports or HID entries then uninstall that entry in Device Manager.

I use USBview.exe (free from Microsoft or on here) to identify USB ports.
