Like all in-app email facilities, Spooky2 requires that you use a desktop POP email client like Outlook Express or Windows Mail. If you have to launch an internet browser to read or write emails, you're using IMAP mail (AKA webmail), not POP mail.
If you already have a POP mail client, you need to configure it so that it downloads from and uploads to your webmail account(s) - consult its user guide for details.
