It's not possible for Spooky2 to instruct your PC to shut down - it has no commands for this. Set Windows Update not to download and install updates. Keep the laptop plugged in always, and set it never to sleep either when powered or on battery. If there's something wrong with your laptop's power supply, it will switch to battery and use those sleep settings.
