In order for you to save the screen with Customize ticked, make sure to go to "File" menu and click "Save as Startup Default". Be aware that also the waveforms and other settings that were selected before saving the screen as default, will be remembered. So it's a nice thing to set stuff that you use most and then save it, so for the next times you only select sets you need and fire them up.
