The waveform will change with the preset. Different presets may use different waveforms. Programs do not normally make settings although they can, such as sweeps, and sometimes the dwell time may change but once a preset is created, things shouldn't change. That is why you use an empty shell preset to create a preset, containing the programs you want to use. Unless you save the programs in a preset, any changes are temporary. If you didn't make changes in the settings when just running the program, the settings will be whatever was loaded from the last preset. Once you stop the program and run something else, that program is gone.
