1. It means that it is not connecting with the computer and therefore not working or frozen. Shut down the program, turn the generator on and off, then re-start the program.
2. Look at your Errors tab and it will reveal the problem. It is almost certainly a poor connection, usually solved by simply unplugging and Re plugging your generator.
