What is the difference between using a preset for sweeps and when a sweep in a healing or killing program. With those programs do we need to use any specific preset?

Just took a look at the EBV 2 and did not see a sweep defined. Same with CMV 1.

There are two types of sweeps.

The kind that are defined as a range like:

768-1600=3600 is a sweep that will crawl from 768 Hz to 1600 Hz over 3600 seconds and these kinds of sweeps can be used with any shell preset.
The second kind of sweep is a spectrum sweep, as can be seen when you load:

\Frequency Sweeps\Remote\Spooky Spectrum Sweep (R) - DB

This type of sweep uses a spectrum (image included) and requires very specific setups. Hence they come pre-programmed in a preset.

The two you are running can be used with my Killing preset if you like.
