You can read on page 99 of the User's guide:
"KHZ is a collection of higher frequencies. Reputed to be most effective when used with a square or inverse sawtooth wave, 100% positive Offset, and Amplitude of 9.5" .So, if researchers found an 100% offset to be of help, I would do what they say. But, as all this is experimental, maybe you can discover that a 0% offset also works for you. I would try MM_ModInvSawtooth waveform with KHZ sets.
Regarding presets, I found them extremely useful, but I don't think that having thousands of them covering every detail of Spooky2 programming is going to make you life easier.
