Candidatus neoehrlichia mikurensis is a nasty mimicker, found in Europe. It's not on the database. How do I find it's DNA or BP frequency? Thank you in advance.

xxS rRNA genes are interesting because they code for ribosomal proteins, the latter being the machinery that translates the CTAG sequence in aminoacid sequence, which is the very heart of life reproduction. More on this:

The way to obtain the Spooky2 MW frequencies: 
On NCBI, look first for the "taxonomy" database to correctly identify the pathogen

then select "249" on the nucleotides database, which gets you to the 249 nucleotides already sequenced for this candidatus

you have the identifier of the candidatus
txid89586[Organism:noexp] 

among the 249 nucleotides, most are partial sequences, so you add "NOT partial" in the request line

which gives two "not partial" 16S RNA nucleotides Candidatus Neoehrlichia mikurensis gene for 16S rRNA,

for strain:IS58 and strain:TK4456

by right clicking on the link, you get the TCAG sequences

copy one of the sequences and paste it in

In molbiotools, select: RNA / single strain / circular

the molecular weight you get is 458,493.96 Dalton

this is the MW frequency for Spooky : M458493.96

in the same way, the second link gives M450578.33 which is the second Spooky frequency the program lines follow:

You copy the program lines in your custom database.

save the file with the_name_you_choose.csv
check that encoding = ANSI
then go in Spooky in the main menu and run:
database/select database
database/refresh database

The 2 program lines will appear and you can select them, you can select one of my presets or one among those provided with Spooky to run the program lines or create your own preset.
