It sounds like this generator think it is connected to Central.
If it is NOT connected to Central, you need to stop it, right click on that generator and answer NO to the question "Is this generator connected to Central?", then go reset the preset/program(s) for this generator.
Once the identifier is no longer bold, you can run the Signal Test Preset to make sure the Remote is working properly.
