Use the Hunt & Kill bfb scan preset, and in the Run on Gen for the Contact based generator, put the generator number of a generator that is connected to plasma. Make sure to load a plasma shell preset (Spooky Plasma Entrainment and Healing, since some of the frequencies will be under 100 KHz) into the plasma generator in the Control tab, so that Spooky uses the correct setting for the plasma/central.
Central is never used for the scan. Scan needs to be run via generator X contact OR XM (either contact or remote) and Pulse to get the data back to the software.
I've never used plasma to run scan results, but should work okay.
