There is no problem with being in the Scalar field with someone who is sick, just as there is nothing wrong with being in the Plasma area with someone who is sick.
If you are going to catch what someone has, you are going to get it whether you are in one of the Spooky2 modalities or not. Cancer is not contagious, and no amount of plasma or Scalar is going to change that.
