This is typically either a loose connection (meaning cable not secure, or faulty cable), or micro-brownouts can cause this too. For the micro-brownout issue, you can buy a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) from Amazon and this will protect you against these brownouts.
But when this happens, shut down the computer, turn off the generators, then turn everything back on again.
