Why would one use the sample digitizer with nail filings over using remote with nail clippings?

It's not a matter of choosing one over the other. The comparison is essentially apples to oranges.

• Your nail sample in a Spooky Remote is DNA and thus relates to your entire body. These nail samples (DNA) are long-lasting. Some suggest changing them every month, but in our experience, they last for much, much longer.
• By comparison, any sample you put in the Sample Digitizer relates only to that sample, i.e. blood, mucous, etc. When people talk about using nail filings, I'm not sure they realize that the nail filings need to be so fine they become dust, and even then they need to be mixed with moisture of some kind before they can be used. These samples last about 7 or 8 hours at the most, and only the sample itself is scanned, not your DNA.
