If you have only one generator and need to stop it to do the Herx set, this might work - but please note that I have only done this successfully with other programs and not Terrain, so can't guarantee it.
When you need to interrupt Terrain does NOT STOP it as this will lose your place and wipe out all relevant info. On the 'Control' page press your generator's 'Pause' button. In the top center panel, the frequencies currently running are displayed. Immediately below that panel is a section which lists 'Dwell', under that 'Step', below that 'Preset' and then 'Age Factor'. This is most important: Write down those words and corresponding numbers to the right of them. (These numbers change constantly as the program advances). When you have recorded this status info you can stop the program to run the Herx.
When you want to resume Terrain, load it as normal. BUT DON'T START YET. Run your cursor over the numbers next to the 'Dwell', 'Step' etc. which will probably say something like 0, 1, 1, 1, and see if they highlight. If so, highlight each one and type into the right place the numbers you have written down. If they don't highlight, start the program and then pause, then fill in the recorded numbers. Then start. And please let me know if this works with Terrain! 😊 I battled so long to discover this and really hope that it will help someone else.
