Is it possible to import .WAV files in spooky2 to run through GENERATOR-X?

1. It is NOT possible to import WAV files into Spooky2...If you want to listen to these, you just play them with the computer.

2. Generally, the answer is no. In input to the GeneratorX is not an audio or analog signal, but instead a series of commands via the USB port from the Spooky software. The Cold wrist laser requires a waveform that only has 2 possible voltages: 0V and -10V. This means you can't use sine or sawtooth or more complex waveforms, but only square waves that modulate each other. You would have to play the .wav file through an amplifier so that the output would have 0V and -10V, assuming the waveform were a square wave. To do this, you would need an oscilloscope to measure the signal coming out of the amplifier.

If you want to do something like FSM, you might try 2 lasers, each hooked up to a different generator on the GenX, and run the 2 different frequencies on each laser.
