What should you do when you get the message" generator error"?

This is typically either a loose connection (meaning the cable is not secure) or a faulty cable, or micro-brownouts can cause this too. Have a look at the Errors tab.

But when this happens, shut down the computer, turn off the generators, then turn everything back on again.

  • I experienced 'Generator Error' with the computer and GX Pro when I added a connection to the power board, another plug to charge my mobile. I can only think that the change in the current passing through the board may have been enough to upset the Spooky2 system. It had been running continuously for two days prior without any issues.

  • Ich habe eine Spooky2 Steckdose mit eigenem Stromanschluß und es gab keine Probleme. Dann schloß ich einen weiteren Generator an den Laptop an für ein anderes Gerät (Scalar) das in einem anderen Zimmer steht. Besonders bei den Peptide Programmen gab es laufend Generatorerrors, nicht eine Minute gab es Ruhe. Immer wieder zog ich das USB Kabel aus dem Laptop und steckte es wieder rein, aber die Fehlermeldung kam immer wieder. Erst als ich diesen Generator auch an die Spooky2 Steckdose anschloß ist seitdem Ruhe.
