1. I don't think it should make a difference - it's just a setting a baseline. You can make your scan much shorter - it depends on which settings you make. In the newest software version, the sample digitizer scan takes about 20-30 minutes
2. That should take about 20-30 Min. You can change the setting the way you like - we like more hits, not only 10 and so on. I set a wider frequency range - up to 20 million. Sample, Loops and other values are changeable too.
