What to do if I fail to install Spooky2 software

I had issues installing the previous two versions of the software and this is what resolved my problems. I am not running the most recent version but the one prior and below is what I had to do.

First, if you have an anti-virus software like Norton or McAfee, they usually come with a firewall and auto-protect software that can block the install. I am able to quickly disable both in my Norton software temporarily by right-clicking on the antivirus icon on the bottom right corner of the screen in the "quick start" tray. Then after I install the software and restart my computer, the antivirus comes back online.

Second, if the above doesn't work or isn't the issue, you may need to install the software in "safe" mode. The instructions on how to enter the "safe" mode are in the link below. You don't need to enter "safe mode with networking" since you should already have downloaded the install file previously. Keep in mind you may also need to still disable your anti-virus software in safe mode to complete the install.

If this doesn't work, check back in and let us know.
