1. Both the XM generator and the GX are programmed to scan for higher frequencies to search for things that need to be killed. So yes, always run BFB results on a kill setting.
2. I think you’re all getting confused about running the scan and running the results. My understanding is that there is a default setting for running the BFB scan. I don't need to adjust it. When you run the BFB results, you need to select a shell for it. That's when you choose a killing one. I've used H-bomb so far personally and not sure it’s really a problem but it seems killing is the correct setting to use. Hope this clarifies your questions.
