Has anyone tried the high contact port on a Spooky Boost on a GenX? I don't think you can do it at double the power of the Spooky-XM. The lower frequencies you get seriously zapped the higher ones start eating at you not far in.

The boosted High Power Contact port has double the voltage vs. Out 1 direct. This is how the boost works, by combining the power potential of both Out 1 and Out 2 - regardless of which generator is used.

When you double the voltage potential, you square the power (contact mode). So you have four times as much going on as when wired directly to Out 1.

I thought you were comparing boosted output between the two generators which would be the same.

However, what you are experiencing is normal.

If you want to lessen the feeling effect and still maintain the extra power, use the CS port. This has a 1k Ohm resistor wired inline, which will limit current. The result is less feeling potential, and keeps all the bonuses.
