1. Complete manual solution: There should be a Instruction Manual / User Manual for the XM Generator on the Spooky2 Website.
(And of course it can be run without a Computer if you want only run one frequency/Amplitude etc. without changing them automatically over the time.)
Half manual solution: Program the XM Generator over Spooky2 and then disconnect the USB connector. Save the Setting manually over the MEM function of the Generator (must be done manually) at Position 0. If you power up the XM the next time the data stored in "MEM 0" will be read and you can use the XM Generator without a Computer.
2. I have used the Spooky2 XM generator standalone many times. Sometimes I will load programs with the Spooky2 software and then store the 2 channels of frequencies and waveforms in a memory location 0 to 99 of the Spooky2 XM generator. Then run the Spooky2 XM generator without the Spooky2 software, you can recall each memory location to run the frequency and waveform. With the Spooky2 software the frequencies are automated and automatically sequence to the next frequency and waveforms with many timed programs chained. This automatic sequence is not possible when the Spooky2 XM generator is stand alone without the Spooky2 software. The Spooky2 Generator X was designed with more stand alone features to run 1 of 30 programs and each program can sequence thru up to 200 frequencies and waveforms automatically timed and looped.
