Troubleshooting: Spooky2 XM Generator Display

There are three situations of faulty display.

Situation 1 Generator display is not on when generator is powered on.

Possible Cause:
A. The power adapter is faulty.
Remedy: Try another power adapter. (Specification of power adapter: 5V 1-2.5A). If this doesn't help, please check the remedy below.

B. The Display is faulty.
Remedy: Test Generator's output using Spooky Remote. Please follow the instruction from this blog: http://www.spooky2-mall.com/blog/how-to-test-generators-output-using-spooky-remote/ If Spooky remote lights, that means the generator is working. Only display is faulty. If you need to change display, please take a picture of your faulty display and send to: support@spooky2-mall.com, our customer service would help solve the problem for you.

Situation 2 Generator display is blank when generator is powered on.

This indicates your display is faulty. Test generator's output using Spooky Remote follow the instruction http://www.spooky2-mall.com/blog/how-to-test-generators-output-using-spooky-remote/, if remote lights, that means the generator is working. Only display is faulty. If you needs to change display, please take a picture of your faulty display board and send to: support@spooky2-mall.com, our customer service would solve the problem for you.

Situation 3 The generator display board is blinking when generator is powered on.

Possible Cause: Vibration during shipping.
Remedy: Please take a picture of your faulty display board and send to: support@spooky2-mall.com, our customer service would solve the problem for you.

Note: The generator is still working though its display is faulty.
