Am I right in thinking that we don't need to bother much about the Chain Editor - particularly in the early stages of using Spooky?

I agree with you, at least for Remote use. It may have more applicability in putting programs together for Plasma use.

At one point, there was a limit of having several thousand frequencies loaded at once. The Chains are a way to make really long programs because only certain sections of it get loaded at once.

I have yet to do anything with the chain editor, and haven't run a chain preset - other than load it to do some brief testing.
