Some useful points from Jeff K:
The cancer with carrier preset requires the modulation factor to produce the two cancer frequencies as sidebands. Therefore, this preset will not work on anything but the SC.
Even if you right click and say no, the title of the preset has Spooky Central in it and so it will still enforce the SC parameters.
Under a generator using say contact mode, it will produce the two frequencies as frequency addition and not one modulated by the other; and so it will be ineffective.
