When you pushed start did it come up with a screen saying loading waveform?
Do you mean the lights on generators or the remotes? Do the generators say 'on' or 'off' on their screens?
"not making any noises at all" The generators don't make any noise while running. The remotes will make some noise at certain frequency levels.
"the software seems to be static, nothing seems to be running" If you're looking at and referring to the screen in your picture then you would not see any changes. You need to open up one of the running channels to see the running changes.
