The PC needs to be kept running for the program to complete successfully. What will happen is that when the PC turns off, the generator will keep running the last frequency that was sent to it.
When you bring the computer out of power saving mode it is then necessary to stop and restart the Spooky2 software. Basically, it's not something that you want to be happening.
