My generator on the killing mode sounds like it's working, but the screen went blank. Is this normal or is it broken?

I once had one of my generator's displays go a bit out of whack, not all bright like yours, but part of the screen was a different brightness.

I had to shut down spooky2, power off the generator, waited about 30 seconds, and then powered it back on. The display reset to normal working condition.

Suggest at least that you try the same and then reload spooky2 and restart your two programs.
If it is blank and can not recover, it is ok. The generator will work exactly the same without the display.
