How can I improve the reading from Spooky2 Pulse?

1. If you change the setting on the control tab from BPM to HRV it seems to work better for slow heartbeats like mine.

2.Using Pulse for BFB is twitchy, to say the least. We used it for several years, but now use GenX for scanning which makes the process far less frustrating. There are a couple of things we did with the Pulse to make it more stable.

For instance, we plugged the Pulse's USB connection directly into the computer rather than using the short cable that's supplied, and we made sure it didn't "droop" by putting a book under it to keep it strictly horizontal. Also, we set ourselves up so that there was no body movement ... not easy, but doable. Additionally, as you've already done, we tried both the finger and the ear clips to see which one was most effective. Over time, due to ordering more XMs in our first year, we seemed to collect a number of Spooky Pulses. We found some worked better than others.
