My experience is that the phase setting works as intended.
Of note, wave forms only cancel out when they are 180 degrees out of phase from each other and all other aspects match.
The boost wiring already inverts Out 2 to start with -- the same as changing the phase to 180. So if your output on Out 1 and Out 2 are in phase to start (such as Follow Out 1), they cancel after going through the boost.
When we set Out 2 to 180 degrees of phase (manually or via invert + sync), and then the boost flips this back to 0 phase, they wave forms will be in phase and combine for greater output.
Therefore, by setting Out 2 to 180 degrees of phase, it should combine after going through the boost. Just ensure that everything else matches. Frequency, amplitude, duty if this applies, and don't forget to sync the outputs. Spooky2 normally does this automatically, since you are using the generator manually, it will have to be done by hand.
