What is a good textbook on electro–magnetic waves you could recommend to non–technical people so we can better understand how to do best with our powerful Spooky?

This online text is good for learning about EM waves: http://www.ducksters.com/science/physics/types_of_electromagnetic_waves.php

However, to understand Spooky, it would be better to learn about harmonics. This is explained very well at http://www.physicsclassroom.com/Class/sound/u11l2a.cfm. The course is covered in several pages, and starts from the very basics.
