If you want to run programs on Programs tab, you need to choose one shell preset on Preset tab at first and then go to Programs tab to select the programs you want, finally go to Control tab, overwrite generator and click Start.
And if you want to run one preset on Preset tab, directly select the preset and then go to Control tab, overwrite generator and click Start.
