Why can’t l run two different programs separately via G1 and G2 in standalone mode?

Several possible errors.

First, Terrain is a Preset Chain consisting of 15 Presets. Each of these Presets must be loaded into memory locations separately in order to run stand-alone, then manually changed at the time because the GenX doesn't have as much capability for controlling some features as the software does.

Second, all Preset storage within the GenX is shared, so 30 total locations and any Presets may be used by either generator in the case.

There is a specific sequence to choose programs for each generator, but pressing the G1/G2 button appropriately allows users to select which generator they are "loading" at the moment.

What exactly you did that doesn't allow proper usage is hard to pinpoint without exact steps used.
