1. Power cuts cause the software to loose communication with generators.
2. Just reset where you last noticed what preset # you were on. If you know the step # then input that as well in Control Tab. Continue to its end.
3. To prevent this, buy an UPS battery back up. APC or cyber power are the 2 main brands in US.
APC has a replaceable battery. Little more expensive.
Cyber power says battery is not replaceable but those who have a special tool to open the door can search and find batteries for it.
Little more hassle but $10-20 cheaper.
I have both. Batteries last 4-5 years. I put computer -10 generators on one UPS (uninterrupted power supply).
