Larger TENS are actually supposed to give better results, from what I remember - more surface area means more distributed current for a broad scan of an area. Just make sure TENS pads are front and behind the problem, to force the scan through as much tissue as possible. If not local, place TENS pads on the very sides of the body, at gut level.
