1. I believe the information is that the polarity of the frequency should change to prevent acid build-up, not the pads themselves. If you are using a shell preset to create your own or using an existing preset, there should be no problem. You do need to change the pads if they no longer stick to your body properly.
2. "To prevent the buildup of acids during treatment, the polarity of the signal is regularly reversed." John White (Preset: Killing (C) - JW). The Spooky2 Software will automatically reverse electrical polarity every 60 seconds.
