If I don’t change the waveform to square wave, 5v and 100% offset, what will happen?

1. When you go to preset and select scalar as transmission device it will AUTOMATICALLY put those parameters in for you. 

2. See page 97 of July 7, 2019, Spooky2 User's Guide for which of the presets under >Shell (Empty) Presets in the Presets tab to use for Scalar. After you choose a shell preset, you can add programs from the Programs tab. In the User's Guide, there is a tutorial of how to do this for Remote on page 44. The only difference between doing this for Scalar versus Remote is you choose a different shell preset at the beginning (listed on page 97).
