1. While I can't guarantee that a scan of the shoulders will pick up an infection in the teeth, I can say without a doubt, that it is really dangerous to put contact pads anywhere above the shoulders, as it is possible to cause muscle contractions that cause breathing to cease and death soon after.
2. I put them on either side of the jaw and had no problem. I already deal with low calcium issues so spasms are not new to me but I did not experience anything but a pulsing sensation. That was just for the BFB scan not administering the frequencies. For that, I either did Cold Laser, PEMF coil or Remote (which I do the most). Added: I think I did the 1hr scan due to being attached to the unit. So it may not have been a graded scan but it found the frequencies my body needed and is more effective than just trying to guess the bacteria I need.
3. The other thing I did, since I had puss coming out of the gum tissue, I scraped off a sample and put it on the digitizer plate. Then did a scan, this is what I did to refresh the frequencies I needed. The first time it was trying to address the situation quickly without needed my tooth pulled. Then I followed it with Colloidal Silver application directly to the problem area (soaking gum with a cotton ball soaked in CS) and then swishing the mouth with CS as a mouth wash. You could try scraping a sample of your tissue inside the mouth and then putting it on digitizer even if no infection like mine had. I find blood samples (finger prick like glucose finger poke lancet) then putting drops of blood on digitizer plates for the scan has been quite helpful too.
