1. No need to feel being zapped, in fact all of the higher frequencies give no feeling while the lowest frequencies may give some sensation. Sounds like you're doing it right.
2. Any over 10 KHz should not be felt by anyone, only those less than 10K should resonate with nerves and you may feel it.
