1. I’d try the TENS Contact Kit if I were you. Much larger contact area and it’s already on your whole foot. That should definitely cover the area you want to hit.
2. You can place them above and below ankle or either side. Hope that helps. I put above and below. Almost to the base of the foot and then above the ankle bone.
