1. I've carried it with no issues. If they do ask, you can tell them It's for muscle stiffness, so they can slightly understand. They might do a swab but it'll be clear. Nothing to worry about. The simplest answer is the best.
2. Make sure that you have the power cable along with you in your carry on bag. When I use to have to travel with a nebulizer for our son, a few times they required us to turn it on. I've traveled with my gen x here in the U.S a few times without any issues.
