Is it normal that the temperature of plasma tube very different when running the same program in different presets?

Thank you for the information. This was the very reason why we developed the Advanced preset. Indeed, we would be worried if it didn't do as it claimed! The Notes for this preset state: "A 4 Hz 10% duty cycle gate on the Modulation input provides strong signal spikes whilst keeping the tube cooler than most other Presets." The Advanced preset is actually more effective, despite the reduced thermal losses. The magnetic field is more intense, and the signal shape is sharper.

53.5 degrees is not hot for a plasma tube.

  • 1. Since the advanced preset is an improvement to the plasma killing preset, we do not need to use this one anymore, correct?

    2. When would we ever need to use a different preset, like the plasma entrainment or variable duty?
