1. I use a water ionizer, and I eat alkaline foods. I had to get rid of sodas and eat more raw veggies, and I drink lots of lemonade which acts alkaline after it's processed by the stomach. lots of books and information on the webs for getting more alkaline. From the studies I have done, almost everything we do food wise causes us to go more acidic. So it is a real chore eating and compensating for all the acidic ways.
It is a process.... but worth it I think. (In my opinion). Once you do it for awhile... it gets easier. Also there was a Youtube video on baking soda water, half a teaspoon a day of baking soda in a half gallon jug of water solves a lot of issues it seems. You can pick and choose what works best, but remember you can overdo it as well and go too base. So inform yourself well before you start.
2. I also recommend really researching Ph levels because there is a lot of confusing and contradictory information. One has to remember that Ph levels vary in different areas of the body. One of the most important areas and the first area to correct would be the stomach....where it is critical to have hydrochloric acid to break down the foods ingested. Many people foul their entire gut biology (which then affects lymph and blood) by interfering with the Ph of the stomach.
Below is a small excerpt from someone on another health group (not his real name) who gets much of the information shared and experimented with from old medical books (as in turn of the century to maybe the 1950's). Much of this info would have been contemporary to the information Rife would have worked with in conjunction with the medical doctors. It is my opinion that one has to be cautious in trying to replicate what Rife was doing. Some information from that time period is going to hold 'truths' or 'standards' that were buried in favor of 'modern medicine' fueled by money. And some of that information will be incorrect or outdated due to advanced knowledge or a change in available products. Some terminology is so defunct that you can't find a definition for it!
It is just my opinion that if you (all) are not well versed in biology, it might be better to sift through modern sources of information rather than try to piece together archaic information.
“The primary cause of macular degeneration is mineral depletion due to low levels of hydrochloric acid in the stomach and throughout the entire body and vitamin B6. The most sensitive tissues in the body are the macula. Consider them to be the canary in the coal mine.
As we age we produce lesser amounts of this critical acid that is the only acid indigenous to the body. Mineral transport through the gut wall requires adequate levels of HCl.
People with acid reflux are told that they have excessive stomach acid which is true. What they are not told is that the acid that is causing their troubles in lactic acid, not HCl. HCl is produced from potassium chloride, not sodium chloride and some erroneously believe. Low salt diets are incorrect, it is the gross lack of potassium that is the real problem, not sodium chloride salt.
The LES (Lower Esophageal Sphincter) valve operates by the degree of HCl it detects and if too little of this important acid is found to be present, the valve doses not close completely which allows the lactic acid to move upwards into the esophagus. The tissue in the esophagus will change over time and begin to resemble stomach tissue. This is known as Barrett's Esophagus which is a precursor for throat cancer.
Stay away from medical doctors and you will live longer. They are brilliant dummies.
