Beech hedges in my locality (UK Cotswolds) would get severely affected by white fly, no birds would eat them, only later when the wasps emerged would these pests disappear. Back in Jan 2014 as reported here I had placed dead white fly in the remote and run a sweep for several days.
No apparent result, but some insects only feed at larval stage, and spooky is thought to stop them feeding.
The result is that I have not been infested since then, and I have not seen any around here.
In a way I rather hope I did not eliminate them with Spooky.
