You will need to identify which end has which polarity. It would then be wise to mark them so you do not have to re-identify them in the future.
To identify them, perform the following:
1. Wire up your old boost cable.
2. Connect up a remote, doesn't matter which.
3. Load a program that will generate a signal with a 100% offset. Use 100/-100 to do this with inverse+sync.
Recommend you just use a simple square wave for the waveform.
4. Run the program.
5. Note which LED is lit.
While looking at the remote with the BNC connector facing down...
Left LED lit, also marked + on the remote, you currently have the Red / Red, Blue / Blue wiring in effect.
Right LED lit, also marked - on the remote, you currently have the Red / Blue, Blue / Red wiring in effect.
