The frequency is what does the work. Waveform selection only adds to or subtracts from the frequency's ability to do work. For instance, if the frequency is an entrainment frequency, which is going to gently guide the target back into health, we consider this a healing modality. If you use a harsh waveform like the inverted sawtooth, this may slow the entrainment process down. However if the frequency is going to devitalize a pathogen, using the same waveform may add to the frequencies ability to do the work and provide a better outcome.
